I am excited to be in my second year at WRNS, bringing with me over a decade of experience in the education field. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Tarleton State University, and it has been a joy to share my passion for music with the students here.

As the school’s music teacher, I’ve discovered a deep passion for working with children and introducing them to the wonders of music and the arts. My goal is to help each child express their creativity and explore their potential through engaging musical experiences. Watching their faces light up as they dance, play instruments, and interact with the music is incredibly rewarding and reinforces the importance of music in their development.

Beyond my role at WRNS, I teach beginning piano lessons and am an active member of the Carrollton Wind Symphony, where I play trombone. My musical journey has also included performances with symphony bands, jazz ensembles, and theater productions, where I’ve had the opportunity to play trombone, tuba, percussion, and even perform vocally.

Music has profoundly influenced my life, and I am dedicated to sharing its joy and benefits with others. I look forward to continuing to inspire and be inspired by the wonderful students at WRNS.
