Hi! My name is Katy Gomez, and I’m so excited to be joining the White Rock North School family this year!

I’ve always had a passion for working with children whether it’s babysitting for friends and family or volunteering to read at the library, bringing smiles to kids’ faces brings me so much joy. While I may be new to the classroom, I have a big heart, a love for learning, and a strong desire to help every child feel safe, happy, and confident.

After graduating high school early, I returned to tutor classmates and loved seeing their hard work pay off. That experience showed me just how rewarding teaching can be! My time as an optometric technician and bank teller helped me grow even more in communication and leadership, which I’m excited to bring into the classroom.

Outside of school, I love spending time with loved ones, being silly, reading, watching movies, shopping and I never say no to a good coffee! I’m a positive person who believes in making someone’s day with a simple smile or kind word.
