I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a degree in Early Education and
Elementary Education from Northeastern State University, in Oklahoma, where I embraced the
university’s motto, “Go here, Go far.” With a career spanning over two decades, I have
made a profound impact in the lives of countless students. I began my teaching journey in
public schools, where I taught for two years before finding my home at White Rock North
School, where I have been teaching for an impressive 23 years.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child has the potential to
succeed, and I inspires my students with my signature phrase, “The power of yet.” I
encourages my students to embrace challenges and persevere, knowing that with time and
effort, they will achieve their goals.
Beyond my impressive teaching career, I am a devoted wife, cat mom, dog mom, and
aunt to 4 beloved nieces and 2 nephews. In my free time, I enjoy crafting, hosting game
nights with my closest friends, and getting lost in a good book.
Through my tireless dedication, passion for early education, and love for my students and their
families, I have created a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire and empower
generations to come.
