As the Principal and President of White Rock North School, I am deeply proud to follow in the footsteps of my parents, John and Mary Adams, who founded the school. My connection to White Rock North is both personal and professional. Growing up, I was a student here, and my positive experiences in the classroom inspired me to pursue a career in education, mirroring the path my parents carved out.

I pursued my Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University in 1991, followed by a Master of Science in Education in 1992. After graduating, I ventured to London to work as a school teacher, which broadened my perspective and deepened my commitment to education. Returning to the U.S., I joined our family’s educational institution, taking on roles as both a teacher and P.E. coach. My involvement was instrumental in helping White Rock North achieve its AdvancED accreditation in 1996, a milestone that led to my promotion to Principal that same year.

In 2017, I stepped into the role of President, and it has been my mission ever since to uphold and enhance the legacy of “Educating the Leaders of Tomorrow.” During my tenure, I’ve spearheaded numerous initiatives to upgrade our facilities, enrich our curriculum, and expand our programming. Each of these efforts is aimed at fostering an environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

My role as President allows me to combine my passion for education with my commitment to maintaining the high standards set by my parents. White Rock North School remains a proud testament to female leadership and ownership, and I am dedicated to ensuring that it continues to flourish for future generations. I’m excited about the upcoming year and eager to see all the wonderful opportunities that lie ahead for our incredible students!
