Some of the Activities we offer:

*Private piano classes with our  Music teacher, Ms. Ellen Roberts
*Guided Study Hall for the students needing homework assistance (with a certified teacher)
*Weekly activities: roller skating, cooking, crafts, games, activities & swimming (seasonal)
*Computer-based activities that focus on age-appropriate skills  

Our staff members truly enjoy working with children and plan an array of activities to keep them stimulated and engaged.  In our experience, we have found that busy children are happy children and thus, we provide a daily rotation schedule that takes them through a variety of activities.  Our staff have a wealth of experience to offer that are sure to benefit all of our students. 

Each afternoon, when public school is dismissed, our staff arrive in marked school vans to meet the students.  Upon greeting them, we help them onto the vans and take attendance to ensure that all students are present. 

Once the children arrive at White Rock North, we have snacks ready and allow them time to talk and socialize with their friends.  All students are placed in groups by age and grade level and then they’re off to the many activities we have planned! 

Before the students are dismissed, our very first priority is to take the children with homework to the “Study Hall”, where one of our certified teachers is on duty to assist the children with their assignments. An additional  avenue we provide for academic reinforcement is facilitated through our academic tutorials.  These are made available through our certified teaching staff, to increase children’s opportunities for success in the classroom (further details available).

 “Kids’ Club” kids can also participate in dance, gymnastics and piano classes (enrollment is separate).  We feel that these classes are a definite bonus to our program, as they expose the children to the Fine Arts.  The instructional settings are structured as “pull-out” classes the children attend in place of their daily activities.  

Through the course of the afternoon, the students rotate through two to three activities, prior to their parents arrive to take them home.  Our seasonal activities such as swimming, are conducted through the warm months and are then replaced with indoor activities, appropriate for the season at hand. 

Kids love our program, because of the fun and lively environment.  Something is always abuzz and “Movie Madness” days are a definite favorite!

Tuition for the “Kids’ Club on the Corner”:

$100.00 Activity Fee (yearly fee)
$300.00 Monthly Tuition (due the 1st, monthly)
